Did not see Omnigone opening the SF show coming at all but it makes a ton of sense with the Link 80 connection, even more excited now.

It was borderline because my kiddo has been a bit of a pill going to bed lately and I didn't want to leave my pregnant wife to fend for herself with bedtime... But the band posted that they go on at 10pm so I can make it, even with a bedtime battle haha!!

 

Fantastic show, they haven't missed a beat

 

Any mention of that new album they were allegedly working on?

Setlist for those interested: The Matches Setlist at Teragram Ballroom, Los Angeles

Papercut Skin was a highlight last night, it just felt like it went HARDer than usual, perfect singalong song.

they seem so committed to the occasional handful of shows every year or two while juggling their other activities outside of the Matches, I truly wonder if there will ever be new stuff ... though I wouldn't object to it. LA show was great.

but here we are, somehow, approaching 20 years of Decomposer, which is absolutely what I hope this is about. a full-album anniversary tour/handful of gigs of that would be my dream
