I wish there was an easy way to watch non-US episodes of this haha

 

Tony Hawk was a nice surprise. I'm terrible at guessing celebrity voices so I rarely call anything right.

 

The way I knew what these would sound like before clicking

 

My brother and I think the taco is Tom Hanks and the frog is Bow Wow

I don't watch this but Dionne Warwick and Chaka Khan getting eliminated this early is fucking insane haha

 

Yes. But to be fair, they can’t quite sing as well as they used to. However, Dionne sounded much better without her mask on.

 

It has nothing to do with who can sing, it’s who they want to reveal. Unlike other reality shows, there is no pretense of legitimacy - from the crowd reactions to the judges knowing obscure album titles backing up their guesses, everything is so obviously written and pre-orchestrated that it’s fine to just enjoy the spectacle of it

The exaggerated crowd reactions/cuts to planted audience members absolutely losing their minds to a Banana singing Achy Breaky Heart are truly priceless. It’s truly surreal

But I really think it is.

I'm thinking because of their ages and not being able to move in the costume or hold it up

 

Is the Banana finally Weird Al and the kitty Maisie Williams? Al did a parody of Achy Breaky Heart and it sounds dead-on-balls accurate. Also, pictures in his clue package are parodies of shows. They've guessed him and Chaka Khan every season.

 

In Australia, we had just had a cactus singing “just a girl” by No Doubt

 

The fact that they filmed during this is wild

 

I hate how into this show I am...

 

It was probably easier than previous seasons.
