As teens, my friend took me and a bunch of other high schoolers to see "Wild Things." He didn't know about the sex scenes, he just thought it looked interesting. No one else was there so there was a hootin and a hollerin.
Mostly positive reactions out there, but that tends to usually be the case before the actual reviews. I’ll be seeing it Saturday night so I’m excited regardless. Just sucks this is going to bomb for all the wrong reasons
bright. colorful. silly. fun. cosmic. This was a good time and if I had to compare it to any other MCU film it would be Ragnorak. It starts early, doesn’t waste time, and doesn’t apologize for knowing what kind of film it’s aiming to be. Kamala and Monica are the highlights but even Carol is given more personality and you can see that Brie is having a good time. The antagonist is a bit wasted. Not much screen time. The callback to Fury’s appearance in Iron Man 1 is fantastic. And for the first time in a long time it actually feels like Marvel is building towards something
Wow. Sounds like this is going to be BAD. My go to reviewer that I don’t always agree with but agree with his analysis, HATED this. Oof. Here we go.
very swing-y, either love it or hate it. interested to see what marvel has post-marvels what's their next film again? Blade?
Deadpool 3 in May and then Captain America: Brave New World in July. Edit: At least that was the intended schedule before the strike went as long as it did. I know Shawn Levy has indicated Deadpool could get pushed back a couple months.
I think there was talk that Captain America and Deadpool may be switching since CA already finished filming. But I actually forgot about Deadpool when I made my other comment lol
I was very surprised with how low the RT score is. I thought it was good. Everyone I talked to after the movie thought it was good. Most people on the sub Reddit thought it was good.
My screening is in two hours and I am the only one who bought a ticket so far. This is my first Thursday night movie I’ll see here, so maybe it’s always quiet? Or maybe this is going to bomb hard. We shall see.
I went into Quantamania with the lowest expectations and I guess at the time it helped me think it was fine. But it wasn't lol
There are some fun moments and most of the cast, notably the 3 leads and Kamala’s family, are likable, but I thought the story was an incoherent mess. Felt more like the retelling of one after a game of telephone.
