The Ferris wheel scene was so good

 

Pumped this show is back. It was a good warm blanket for me when things started getting locked down a while back!

 

This is a great show

 

Forgot this was back today what a good surprise

 

Was excited to watch this and I dozed off during the first episode. Not a good sign. Hoping it picks up next episode. Too many scenes felt like they went on too long. The taxi scene and the wonder wheel scene especially.

 

Need to finish rewatching the last season first but excited to get into this soon

 

Laughed so hard the moment Midge got arrested.It's really like she's starting all over.

 

Well, you can definitely feel the changing of gears with this new season so far. Losing the tour with Shy was a great plot twist, but it really cost a lot of momentum. Midge finding the new gig felt anything but organic but I almost don’t even really care lol, just need something for her to do. And wtf @ the magician thing?

Quite a few gems in there though, the ferris wheel scene was bonkers especially! Was laughing that entire time

This Zelda squash joke on episode 3 really got me

 

Abe in a cape is a vibe I will simply never achieve

 

Hm. These two episodes were... okay? Feels like there’s a bit of a spark lost, a lot of this seems really directionless. Having a hard time really caring that much about anything going on with any of the show’s characters right now, and I can’t tell what any of it is actually working towards. Hoping since season 5 will be the end that this is just a small bump in the road to get somewhere a little more substantial

the question of whether or not Midge is actually funny becomes more and more unanswerable

Two newest ones feel like a trend in the right direction. The entirety of Shy’s wedding was fantastic. Still feeling like there’s a lot of filler in there for the sake of just giving characters something to do, but it does seem like we’re being set up for a very fun final season

 

I've been loving the season. I've been laughing so hard.

 

Milo Ventimiglia is in episode 7 as Handsome Man, perfect choice

Maybe one day long after this show is over I’ll rewatch it and feel differently, but yeah was just not very into this season at all. Feels like 8 episodes went by and no one is really in that much of a different place than they were at the end of season 3, maybe barring Susie. I’ll be there to see how they land the plane next season but the bar’s a lot lower now than it was before
