I am honestly just as excited for the official release as I would be had it not leaked. I’ve listened a handful of times - at least - but I’m ready for a proper TMV-sanctioned high quality listen.

 

Kinda bummed there's no limited vinyl. S/t had the gold foil Cloud Hill version. Since it's all the standard version, I'll probably wait a while until the price drops to a more reasonable level

 

Got the leak (boo) but never listened to it so I'm excited to give this a proper listen on Friday. Would be neat if a music video or some kind of visualizer like everyone does in 2025 comes with it. Or even a live performance, feels like it'd be a cool showcase of the new material as well.

 

Clouds Hill owner mentioned releasing live performances of the album. TMV is notorious for not releasing things though

 

I really need to start seeing people go nuts for Enlazan las tinieblas. That track has stood out for me every single listen and now that there’s a proper rip it just did it again.

I have the correct version now, haven't listened yet, but something interesting..... the total album length is the same as the leak, but the track lengths are wildly different. I assume it's just cutting the transitions at different places, but its a BIG difference

for example:

Enlazan on leak: 3:12. Enlazan on release: 4:44
Voice in my Knives on leak: 2:42, Voice in my Knives on release: 5:30

 

They might know who or how it got leaked then

 

I ignored track titles in the leak because I assumed there would be weird cuts and jumps in typical Omar fashion lol

 

I really think this is a pretty special record. I thought that from the first time I listened and I feel even more certain about it now that HQ is available. I understand it won’t be for every TMV fan but it REALLY works for me. Already on my fourth listen of the day, haha. I loved the last record too but this is a huge step up.

 

This is really quite a wild album, and honestly maybe their most... dense, or least to show its colors right off the bat. It is mostly laid out like one long song, but without a ton of chorus-like segments, not a ton to grab onto at first that repeats or can get stuck in your head. That being said, it does traverse a lot of space, there's a lot going on and it's kinda like a musical maze following along. I think more than any of their other albums, this one will benefit from multiple listens to really get whats going on here

 

I think it’s probably more accessible than that but I agree it’s dense. Lots of extremely cool shit happening in pretty much every track.

 

Definitely sounds way better but not hearing any female vocals which is a bummer based on the live show.

EDIT: Someone could figure out in 5 years that if you sync this up with a movie it works and I would not be surprised at all.

The times are reversed, the leak had enlazan at 4:44 and voice in my knives at 5:30
