I listened to the self titled last night for the first time in a minute and I still think it’s really great. Forgot how fucking good Equus 3 and The Requisition are.

Oh man. Only a few tracks in and like, yeah, it’s not too far off from self titled so far but I’m gonna vehemently disagree with anyone who says if you disliked that album you won’t like this one. I was going through the self titled thread this morning and I saw a poster saying they liked it but missed the “weird.” Well, here ya are guy.

Yeah it’s self titled infused with the classic Volta weird. Trippy multilayered vocals, saxophones, fuckin bongo drums. I love it

 

Nice, that wouldve been me. Self titled is decent but probs my least fav Volta bc it was missing the weird (I liked the acoustic version more)
