So is album 7 gonna happen?

 

I’m starting to doubt it but a part of me is hoping they’ve been cooking something up

 

I hope not, honestly. No Ikey, Juan's still recovering, last I heard from Cedric on the ATDI records his voice is nowhere near where it used to be... best to just let it be.

 

I'm hopeful, I think they could come back swinging and make it happen. We'll see.....

 

Ikey wasn’t on Octa or Nocto, right? I also think they wanted to use Eva Gardner for bass this time around

I desperately want to believe the album is finished like DJ nobody said but Jesus it’s been too quiet from them for years

 

I have to imagine they’re building up to something. Especially with how much visibility the vinyl reissues are getting and the teasing. Also QOTSA isn’t touring at the moment so Jon could join back up!

 

Today is a great day. I received my Mars Volta box set from a seller on discogs. Grabbed it for £380 and free postage. Amazing. Love it!

Cedric’s wife posted one of his Volta keepsakes for sale and said something like “from the final Volta tour, until now” with a wink face. Paraphrasing but yeah

 

I'd say it's a tour at bare minimum, and mayyyyybe new material? It'd make sense since there's only so much they can milk the stream of vinyl reissues.
