The Manx - Voyage in Bad Taste Band

    The weirdo folk/punk/metal/adventure-gore band, The Manx, just pre-released our first full length, Voyage in Bad Taste. We thrash around on folk instruments (accordion, banjo, mandolin, upright bass, drums) through fx pedals and custom arcade amps while splitting the vocals between the 5 of us. It gets pretty weird in a fun way.

    The album was produced/engineered by Toshi Kasai (The Melvins, Tool, Tweak Bird...) and King Buzzo even sings a few verses on Rainbow Hammer.

    mini bio: Four of us are Los Angeles based Cartoon Network/animator guys (3 of whom are super Gwar enthusiasts). The fifth member lives in Long Beach and ships anchors around the world. We've been around since 2013 as a 4 piece all acoustic band but then got drums and started experimenting with pedals and amps. We usually play punk/metal shows, and just recently toured with Nekrogoblikon and Crimson Shadows. We don't have a PR person or label support, so we're looking for any contacts/advice to music blogs to help spread the music. ;-)
