I was thinking the same about the never ending quest

 

Nope, started to feel the same way a couple weeks ago.

I was hoping Ahsoka would join them, so we could maybe spice things up a little bit, but yeah. I'll obviously keep watching because I love this universe and it's not bad by any stretch, but I'm getting a little bored by the story.

The episode was just so beautiful visually. Especially the opening.

 

Ahsoka moving in and out of the fog was incredible.

 

I'm fine with an episodic show. The whole cool thing of Star Wars is that it's an insanely large universe will all sorts of different creatures and tech and crazy shit. Which, the emphasis on the Skywalkers is annoying because it distracts from that and turns an entire galaxy of conflict into a family drama. Part of what I like about this show is seeing all sorts of shit outside of that.

It does bug me that it looks like Ahsoka won't be as much of a major character, though

 

I mean the whole saga is about the Skywalkers and was the driving force behind it for decades. To expect star wars to abandon that completely is bonkers

Great episode.

 

I wish I had loved it like you guys seemed to. It just didn’t excite me as much as I would have thought. The Heiress is still my fav of the season so far.

 

Anything specific you didn’t like about it? It was pretty impactful. We got some backstory of the child, we’re being entrenched further into the universe with Ashoka, got to see some cool space western-esque shit and some cool space Samurai stuff too lol

 

Let’s be honest, Grogu is more of a middle name

 

Not really. I know, it’s odd. I just wasn’t that amped about it.

 

Good to see Michael Biehn still getting work

 

This for sure is what I love about the show and what I hope for future SW stuff, show me the universe.

 

Grogu sounds like a caveman name [/spolier]

 

If they do anything live action with this character, I 100% expect them to get Sebastian Stan

 

Honestly I’m shocked I’m not seeing more people complain about the name. I would have thought that would have been easy to disappoint with that and the better decision would have been to keep the name a mystery.

 

I loved the name. I'm glad they didn't go with another Y name, that's for sure.

 

I was definitely incredulous when the name was revealed. Not because I think it's bad, but more like when you learn some dude's name and think, "Really? They don't strike me as a Kyle. I would have guessed Tim or Steve or something."

 

The name was fuckin perfect. They nailed it. I hope Ahsoka comes back this season
