Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Season 2 Coming Soon | What's On Disney Plus Great news, I loved this behind the scenes series.
Friday really ought to be interesting. Only things I'm slightly worried about, is that Filoni's two episodes are two of my least favorite of the series so far, and I just really hope Ahsoka translates well into live action.
I loved parts of this, but I can't help but feel like this episode was just a pilot for what Disney hopes is an Ahsoka spin-off.
My god. When we got Ahsoka so early I screamed “holy shit” haha. Same exact thing with mention of Thrawn. I can’t wait for the Ahsoka spin-off searching for Ezra. I didn’t expect it to be live action initially, but I think they’ll be able to pull off what I think should carry a darker tone with live action.Absolutely everything I had hoped for from this episode. Overall the samurai vibes were great and the entire episode was so enjoyable. I need a rewatch ASAP. Also, GROGU! I can’t wait for Mando to face off with Gideon with that spear. He’s totally gonna get the dark saber and unite Mandalore. I feel like that’s the shows endgame at this point.
Fantastic episode. This also serves as a great reminder that the animated shows are also wonderful and I believe everyone who enjoys Star Wars will find things they love in them.
Episode was fun - wonder if this is all we get of Ahsoka in the season/series. Been wanting to get into the Thrawn stuff for a while so this might be my jumpoff. I’m sure i’ll get yelled at for this opinion but the whole “now go HERE and find THIS” at the end of every episode just feels so “our princess is in ANOTHER castle”. Show is very fun, but at times feels very repetitive.
