There's another trailer that was released as an FX exclusive. Some new shots, but still nothing that gives much context.
Countdown on Disney+’s website is showing 6am EST Tuesday. Was hoping for midnight, but guess I’ll be watching when I wake up.
Update on when this will be available: “Disney had at least two online countdown clocks ticking down to different hours recently, but the company said Sunday that Disney Plus is supposed to officially launch at 12:01 a.m. PT Tuesday. The service is launching in the US and Canada at that time. In the Netherlands, where Disney has been offering Disney Plus free as part of a beta test, the app will switch to requiring a subscription.” If I was west coast I’d definitely be staying up until midnight. 3am is pushing it however excited I may be. Either way. Less than 24 hours we will have ~1 hour of new live action Star Wars canon. I almost can’t believe it.
So here's what I found about what existing hulu subscribers can do. Can anyone make sense of it? a. Existing Hulu Subscribers. You are not eligible to purchase the Bundle if you subscribe to Hulu through Spotify, or if you subscribe to Hulu pursuant to a promotional offer (unless explicitly permitted by the terms of your promotion or otherwise allowed by Hulu or Disney). If you already have any eligible Hulu subscription (purchased through or received from Hulu or any third-party other than Spotify) when you purchase the Bundle, you may keep and manage that subscription. You will continue to be billed by Hulu or such third-party that currently bills you for that Hulu subscription. You must subscribe to the Bundle with the same email address as associated with your existing Hulu subscription for Disney to provide you with a monthly credit against the Bundle price in an amount equal to the then-current retail price of Hulu’s ad-supported plan (currently $5.99) for as long as you maintain that separate Hulu subscription. If you cancel or otherwise lose access to your separate Hulu subscription, or if you change your Hulu account e-mail address to be different than your Bundle e-mail address, your subscription to the Bundle will be automatically cancelled. If you cancel your Bundle subscription, however, your separate Hulu subscription will continue unchanged.
There’s some promo for Verizon users to get a free year of Disney + but they’ve also shared zero info on it. We signed up for Verizon internet a few months ago so I’m hoping we are included!
I feel like the SW community would be split between people who are excited and people who would use that as an opportunity to complain about how Disney killed the EU yet again.
