Man funny reading the negative responses. I was thinking about the one off eps from s1 when watching this. If there are more one off eps like this then I’ll for sure enjoy this season more. Absolutely amazed by the budget this season has had.
The frog lady jumping was so great. Also enjoy how they mix in the practical affects with the cgi this season.
Really liked this episode. More than last week's to be honest. A great amount of weird. The frog lady hopping was fantastic. Baby Yoda eating the egg at the end was a fitting touch. It kind of shows how he's picking up morally questionable habits from Mando. Plus it was also funny in a twisted way. It turns out Baby Yoda is kind of a dick. Amy Sedaris's character is pretty hit or miss for me at this point though.
Frog lady screaming and struggling in the Ship when it was pulling some moves made the episode for me.
I liked this as well. I think there might still be further payoff to come from that episode, but I like how even the "one off" episodes from last season have been referenced early this season. It makes everything feel more cohesive.
10 was wild. I loved it. I didn’t quite understand by Mando had to flee from the x-wings , to the level of risking his and his passengers lives, but I suppose they could have arrested him so, eh. Fucking spiders!
Also, shout out to the frog lady chilling in the hot springs with her eggs. This episode was just splendidly weird.
Just rewatched the trailer and can now say that there is definitely no footage past Chapter 12. Ocean episode will surely be next, and the return to Navarro and the "crew" will be episode 4. Take it to the bank. I've also watched the episode a couple more times, and I've warmed a bit. I am glad that it seems to be trying to connect things from last season, and is very clearly going to connect to next episode. My biggest problem now is runtime. That 52 minute run time on episode 1 was just too tasty to accept a 35 minute episode.
So amazing how high the level of production is on these episodes, especially the CGI. I wonder how much money Disney is pouring into this series; it's Star Wars feature film level production quality
already enjoying this season a lot more than the first. I can't tell if I'm dumb or not but the production value seems off the charts with these two episodes. visually it looks so pleasing at times.
The only time I ever notice the drop in quality of CGI is when they show close ups of them on the speeder bikes.
