This episode was great. Right back to the fun, adventure-style problem solving. The reveal at the end makes me thankful that I haven't really kept up with the behind-the-scenes spoilery stuff this whole time and went in fresh.

 

Same, I felt the same way about the first episode last year

 

I've seen most of the spoilers for this season, and I've got to say that I do kind of wish I had gone in blind for this too.

 

Unlike this year's reveal, there was absolutely nothing out about Baby Yoda before season 1. I definitely wish these rumors wouldn't pop up but I listen to too many SW podcasts to avoid casting rumors.

 

Yea, this. It’s surprising to me that the same team that kept baby yoda a secret had so many leaks about casting, especially so many months after filming all the scenes.

 

I mean I feel like keeping an animatronic/vfx character (that doesn't require an actual actor) secret is a bit easier than keeping actual casting secret.

 

Based on my Boba Fett reaction, I will be a puddle on the floor when Ahsoka shows up.

 

You mean people weren't getting suspicious whenever Baby Yoda was turning down other gigs?

So good. Loved the ep, and even though I knew Timmy O was in this season I didn’t know he was gonna be in this ep. Got so jazzed when I saw the ep title, and realized.

 

New Mando good.

 

I wasn't even thinking it could be rex and now that's what I want lol

 

So in love with this show.

 

I like that the numbering of the episodes is just continuing on from the first season, ie this was Chapter 9, instead of something like Volume 2, Chapter 1.

 

This is exactly what I want from Star Wars.

 

Not Disney and Lucasfilm getting me to care about Boba in the year 2020 heh — wonder if Mando meeting Boba will result in him learning about Kamino or clones in some way since Dr. Pershing had that Kamino patch as well. I am so tired right now so I don’t know ha, but I’m super interested to listen or read some theories in the next few days. Honestly tho, I love Temuera Morrison and seeing him made me very happy. sorry, should we do spoiler tags, can never keep track?

The online premiere included a performance of the theme w/ Ludwig, would love for them to do a concert series at some point!
