i don’t love the show but i agree he’s good in it. it’s still not even close really to a top 5 memorable role of his. but that’s more of a credit to how good he is than anything else.
Timothy is playing Cobb Vanth, a Tatooine settlement sheriff who wears Boba Fett’s armor. The Mandalorian Season 2: Timothy Olyphant Will Wear Boba Fett Armor
God that sounds fucking awesome. Perfect casting and explains the end of a Chapter 5 100% in a way that doesn’t have them shoehorn Boba Fett in (not that I’m as anti-Fett as others).
He is from the Aftermath books and buys the armor. The theory is that this proves Fett survived but then discarded or sold his damaged armor.
First Aftermath was bad, second was good, third was bad until the last 100 pages when the Battle started. I also think if they were written better Id like them more as I did enjoy the story & characters for most of it, but Wendig’s style is draining.
i think i only read the first book but i remember liking the overall story/characters a decent amount but thought the actual writing to be kinda brutal
It already reminds me of soaring over California ride at the California Adventure park (I love that ride).
Finally started watching the Gallery doc series. I love Filoni's grasp of the philosophy and idealism of Star Wars. It seems like he really gets it. Seeing the directors round table made me appreciate how cool of a group that is.
The season two trailer is rumored to be airing at the start of the NBA playoffs. So we're probably just two weeks away.
I believe season 3 was in development at that time and they were in post-production for S2. But yea, all the footage was done and they continued to work remotely from what I understand.
