I hate Taika a little for having those stormtroopers hitting Baby Yoda. Great finale though. And uhhh, yea my jaw dropped when we saw what Giddeon was holding.
Have not but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard about what it is. I wasn’t so much complaining about what happened in the episode so much as it got resolved pretty quickly.
I do think there should’ve been less stand alone adventures and just taken more time with the main plot. Probably could’ve done without the Tatooine Episode and give the Moff Gideon plot more time to breathe.
Also I know Jedi are “the stuff of legend” at this point in time, but for characters who were literally caught up in the turmoil of the Clone Wars, shouldn’t they remember what they are? I mean they say Cara Dune was a drop trooper for the Republic, meaning she likely had Jedi for a general right?
Yeah I was definitely thinking about that. I mean Luke is still around out there somewhere. And even if they didn’t know about him, it’s only been like 25-30 years since order 66 so they should at least have heard of the Jedi/force. Even if they don’t believe in it.
She was in the Rebellion and then the New Republic, so it's unlikely she would have known a Jedi. Mando not knowing seems a little odd given the Clone Wars context and the history of the Mandalorian's history with the Jedi.
Wrong war. That was clone wars. She fought in the galactic civil war. You would think she had heard of Luke Skywalker, but not necessarily about his Jedi abilities.
Also, was the “it’s not a race, it’s a creed” a way to kind of retcon and say that Jango and Boba are Mandalorians?
I can’t tell you how many times since this show has started that I just randomly hear Carl Weathers yelling “Mando!” in my head per day.
Because I imagine that she would want to get that back for her people, especially after learning how important it was.
