I like how we get to see more of the different species and droid types. They are all familiar because they were background for so many scenes in the movies and now you actually get to see them doing stuff
Loved the references to a bunch of the movies in this one. The Gungan line, the Canto Bite slot machine, one of the prisoners was the same species as the 4 armed pilot from Solo. Probably others I’m forgetting.
yeh idk the 3 alien characters this episode were much too cartoony for me reminded me of power rangers or something
I've liked the last two. The hallway fight with the droids was great. Really liked the backpack gun. Kinda throwaway as far as advancing the plot but I enjoyed it Continuing to love the music in this
Apparently. He claims he has never taken it off in front of anyone. He either fucks with it or is a virgin.
I would definitely keep it on while fucking, so I’d like to think Mando does too. I bet he keeps it on while going down as well
Much better than the last two episodes. My only gripes are how cringy the Twi' leks are and Burr's LARP quality level costume.
I read or heard someone say ep 1-3 are kind of one long pilot in a way and 4-6 have been very “stand alone” type of stories. it’s not that clean cut, but I kind of see their point. Which fits very well with Rebels and Clone Wars to an extent.
Probably but having 8 short episodes that are pretty much adventure of the week would be disappointing if season 2 is a year out.
I wouldn’t call them short. 30 minutes of content is not bad for a show. Yes, not the length of an hour long show, but I like that the length has varied each episode. 1 and 6 were closer to 40 because they felt like it needed it. While I do want more, I would rather have concise great content than meandering content trying to fill up a set time that truly only exists because of advertisers demanding x amount of time in a time block that has changed over the years anyway.
Agreed. Also makes sense production wise considering we are on Navarro in episodes 1 and 3 for a good portion and Kuills planet in 1 and 3. Same sets, similar locations, and similar characters. Don’t want to have to redo make-up/outfits/costumes/etc Who knows maybe the Gunslinger was shot early on since that was also similar local and maybe Filoni shot his episodes close together. Could be why it feels the most stand-alone-ish and not as plot heavy.
