How about those New Republic fighters (cameo pilots) not even taking prisoners and just blowing shit up. Favorite episode so far, just thought that was funny.
RE: Boba Fett I feel like it’s the outfit plus all the lore they added in Legends that make people like him so much. He honestly isn’t that great of a character in the cannon though and I really hope he doesn’t show up in the show.
Definitely the best episode this season for sure, it hit all the right beats and the third act was awesome.
my one tiny complaint (that's not really so much of a complaint) is the whole Baby Yoda facing instant death and then someone shooting the would-be killer from behind trope has been done to death and shouldn't be done again tbh
So far Rick Famuyiwa has done the 2 best episodes of the season. Never saw that coming. Always thought Bill Burr would stick out like a sore thumb in Star Wars but he fit in perfectly. Hearing him do a gungan impression... I can die now
Excited for Chows episode next week. The Sin is still the most impactful episode and it’s the second last of the season so I have to imagine big things are gonna happen.
I really enjoyed getting a little more backstory on the Mando's previous career as well. But for real, Mando has to be on everyone's target list now. The Guild, Imperial Remnants, this new crew, possibly the New Republic too? I mean they had to have noticed the ship as he was leaving.
Agreed. I was looking forward to and very interested in Famuyiwa's episodes based on only seeing Dope, but I wasn't expecting them to be my favorites. He has really impressed me with the ways he can build tension and shoot action. I was on the edge of my seat for pretty much all of this one.
I actually wasn’t totally enjoying this one until the last third. Lots of cool scenes and they did some different things but I couldn’t get over how much I disliked the whole crew.
If Bill Burr didn’t improvise the “nice shoes” quip, I’d be highly surprised. Enjoyed him in this more than I anticipated, he really nailed the role.
