I mean, it is the same sound fx, both spurs and the radio transmission sound. I think Filoni WANTS us to think its him, but ultimately, I think they're fucking with us. As for Boba, I could take him or leave him. I don't think theres enough space time wise in this show to really bring him in. If it's done well I wouldn't complain, but I don't need it. I was never a huge Boba fan personally, not really much going on with him.
I think it’s misdirection. But I’m open to it. I still love boba. I wouldnt be disappointed if it didn’t happen either. I’ve been enjoying everything as is. If it is him though I just hope they don’t bring him back just to immediately kill him again
He looks cool? But ya, there's not enough characterization there for me to have strong feelings one way or the other. If he shows up that'd be kinda cool and I trust Favreau and Filoni enough to introduce him if they want.
I don’t get it. He stands in a star destroyer. He figures out Han’s trick not because he is smart, but because Obiwan tricked his dad with the same move. then he stands around in cloud city. Takes a couple shots at Luke pointlessly. Flies away. stands around Jabba’s palace. Nods at “Bouschh.” jet packs to a skiff. Ties up Luke for a few seconds. Stands up and get slammed into the sail barge from a semi blind Han flailing around. dies. Totally a character I want more of. Riiiight.
The fondness for him definitely comes from his looks for sure and his appearance in Empire. Vader seems to respect him in a sense. He doesn’t appear to fear Vader. And of course back then you knew nothing about him so you kind of just imagined what he was before you got disappointed in Jedi.
Boba Fett was always my favorite Star Wars character when I was younger and I think it was 100% just that he looked cool. Had a cool costume. That's really it.
