To anyone not quite hooked or totally on board with the music.... have you seen The Clone Wars movie?

 

I can already tell the discussion around this is going to be intolerable. Instead of focusing on how good it is on its own I’m seeing tons and tons of posts putting down the sequels or saying it’s the only thing that feels like SW and I’m exhausted.

 

Well, that’s not happening here. Fuck the rest of them.

Episode 2 did not disappoint. 5 baby yodas outta 5.

 

Good point and I actually kind of dug kiners atypical instrumentation there. Once again I dig most of the music I think I just need some time to get used to this new style of SW in general which I usually do.

 

I’m honestly dismissive of people complaining about the show. It’s like, what is that you want? We get the SW show we’ve always wanted and y’all just wanna complain.

 

“Baby yoda” can’t actually be yoda because this takes place after episode 6. So, can others of this species use the force? I’m assuming yes, but I do find that interesting. Maybe I don’t fully understand the force, but I thought it was a rare gift to be able to use it.. I know this might be a dumb question lol

 

Any question about Yoda’s species is fair game as it’s the most mysterious of them all. Lucas would not allow them a name or origin. We know very little. I believe the only other canon example was Yaddle, who was on the Jedi council in phantom menace. So they have all been force sensitive so far. It’s possible the species is just more open to the force. The force is in all living beings after all. Perhaps the species is inherently able to sense it easier?

 

From what’s been hinted at, the species is naturally in tune with the Force.

 

The Imperial Doctor dude was wearing a Kamino emblem on his uniform, so I’m thinking baby Yoda is either a clone of that species, or he is trying to obtain baby Yoda TO clone him specifically because of the force sensitive potential.

 

I definitely think they’re trying to clone it considering how rare it is and how powerful it is with the Force.

 

Loved ep 2, and it’s very refreshing that they’re using these episode lengths. Not every drama needs to be 48-50 min

 

Also it takes place before the last Jedi, where we saw Yoda is still a ghost

 

My fiancé is convinced it’s a reincarnated Yoda and I think that’s the most absurd theory.

I kinda want it.

So Yoda got reincarnated like 44 years before his death is the idea here? Just want to be sure I understand this batshit theory.

 

I’m sure they wouldn’t d introduce reincarnation on a Disney+ show...

Thinks about what Rebels showed us at the end of the series.......
