The short length of the first two episodes almost makes me feel like they were combined but split into two parts to both be released during the first week to sate the fans
I’ve never said awww more times in the span of 30 minutes than I did while watching the second episode
Always has a special place in my heart because it's the only Indy movie I saw in the theater when it came out versus on a grainy VHS.
I'll take any Star Wars content that can be produced at this point, but this timeline further illustrates my desire for them to explore other eras and galaxies. When they hired Rian for a new trilogy (assuming it's still happening) and D&D (now cancelled), I was excited to finally get stories that don't rely on the Skywalker era, but it's starting to feel like that will take years to finally happen. You have a massive universe to explore! Let people play with stories that don't lean on the familiar stories/characters/mythos!!!
I do not 100% agree with this necessarily, but I don't think it's far fetched at all either. Most of the criticisms I've read / heard about Last Crusade over the years are straight garbage. This is a trilogy where I can honestly see someone considering any of the three the best. Temple of Doom has the most problematic elements and really is kinda f---ed up but I love how dark and crazy it gets an its by far the one I / we watched the most as little kids and loved the best.
No way I’d rank Temple of Doom even close to Raiders or Crusade. I’ll at least put it several tiers above Crystal Skull, of course.
