Some weird transitions, fades, etc in this show but I assume that's on purpose

 

That's just Star Wars to me. I've always thought that their transitions look like middle school Powerpoints.


And I love it.

Jawas are dicks. I was pretty shocked when they just cracked open the egg and started eating it.

 

I just found out that the the genre of music that is played in Cantinas is called Jizz. AND IT'S STILL CANON!

 

The dissolving ship repair montage stood out so hard to me haha

Through the first two episodes, I'm definitely seeing a theme of nature vs tech. It seems most of the Mandalorian's struggles come at the hands of an animal. I'm digging it.

 

Also, The Last Crusade vibes were strong this episode.

 

This kinda feels more Clone Wars/Rebels brought to live-action than movies brought to tv.

 

This is a ton of fun.

 

Definitely has a younger/cartoon feel to me too.

Yeah, I had been looking for it for a while and can finally do it on Disney+. I just finished Season 1.

 

Excellent! You’ve got a lot of great stuff to see!

 

Omg I just got to the part where Vader learns Ashoka is still alive. and it was LIT.

 

I've only watched the first episode so far but this is absolutely incredible. So much fun. I absolutely LOVE the look of the show and how it is shot, very reminiscent of Rogue One once he's on the ground.

Oh man, I forgot about that scene from Rebels. I might have to get a rewatch in as well.

 

The main theme for this has been stuck in my head all day. Ludwig freaking killed it.
