I’m rewatching episode one right now, gonna play Jedi Fallen Order until midnight. I was expecting to have to watch in the morning again.

 

I've got to be up early tomorrow, but I'm considering staying up for it. Could be risky because I don't know how reliable that report is.

 

Been traveling for work until tonight, so I downloaded the first episode and watched it on the plane home earlier... Haven’t been in touch with the general consensus on the first episode but it got me so pumped. Really looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I’m reading midnight Pacific. Guess I’ll stay up this time and find out, just playing Jedi Fallen Order anyway.

Not midnight eastern apparently lol. I read midnight pacific which makes sense. I’ll catch it in the morning.

 

So, apparently it comes out at 12:00am PT. Well, insomnia helped me out for once.

How long should we use spoiler tags on new episodes? A day?

 

Episode 2 was solid.

 

They are so good at making this look like it was made in the 70s/80s.

I'm just exhausted on overly long episodes of tv. Some do an hour very well (Succession being a golden example) but most don't. I'm all about pace and I'd rather have a packed, well-paced short episode vs. an empty, slow-paced, long episode.

 

so Im guessing then that this season will be somewhere around 4.5 hours total

 

This feels more like a binge show than a week to week. Similar to Stranger Things.

 

Wow. Yes. Really enjoyed this.

If you would’ve told me that two episodes in to this show we would be inside a Sandcrawler and have a baby Yoda using the force no way I believe you haha. They’re really pulling it off.


Things I enjoyed:
-the score
-Mandalorian getting his ass kicked. Appreciate he’s having to struggle.
-Baby Yoda in general
-Baby Yoda trying/then successfully using the force.
-Jawas
-disintegrating (brings me back to Vader in episode V)
-everything about Kuill

Can’t wait to watch again later today with my wife.

 

Echoing being very worn out by shows with hour+ episodes, especially when those episodes always have filler anyway. 30-40 minutes is great.

Slow day at work today, so I could easily watch this. But I prefer to watch it at home on my 65" TV with the Dolby Vision. Looks so damn good.

 

Id still watch if they had some more serialized episodes too, think Cowboy Bebop. you just get to chill in the world.
