Were they so stupid they thought “buff Jabba son who just wants to live his life” was a great idea they needed to lean into more?

Or did they struggle to come up with anything (weird ‘cause you could throw Mando and cub at basically any space shit you could imagine) and go, “idk, we have this popular actor voicing a version of a known character. Let’s just do that, whatever.”

The anzellans are great, far and away the best thing to come out of the sequel trilogy.

My daughter got more excited for the minions monster trailer than anything in Mando

 

The trailers I had before MandoGrogu were mostly like Masters of the Universe and Minions and Moana. Sitting through those before seeing Jabba’s son with the grindset mindset made me think maybe movies are bad, actually.

(At least there was also the Odyssey trailer.)

only thing remotely appealing to me trailer-wise was The Dog Stars, and even that looked bland
