iirc, Filoni might've already cameoed in S3 or something, i honestly don't remember. but i was pretty annoyed he showed up.
I read an article either on Rolling Stone or Forbes that several people cheered the cameo in the writer's showing, so clearly there are some people who are drinking the Kool-Aid.
Few movies with less energy than this. I almost wish it was worse. It isn’t good and didn’t take risks enough to flop and be bad. It’s just there.
My daughter also admittedly is probably too young for this but she didn’t really seem scared at any point, just dreadfully bored and we had to leave halfway through bc she wanted to watch mulan.
Unfortunately that means you missed the best stuff (outside of the Scorsese guy), lol. Not that it’s ever great or whatever. But some creature and robot stuff in the back half is charming to me.
I genuinely hated basically everything about him. Buff son of Jabba who keeps emphasizing (with dialogue both written and performed poorly) that he isn’t like his dad and the rest of his family? With a reference to his baby form who I guess was in an early cartoon? Dog shit. I guess him rolling when he fights is neat, idk.
He voiced a creature who sells food in the street of the one planet. It’s very funny, when they’re going through the credits over a montage toward the start of the movie, to have a shot of a Star War environment with just the name “MARTIN SCORSESE” on the screen.
Gonna be honest Tim that’s none of my business but happy for you I guess. They should have considered putting some of the good stuff in the first hour of the movie lol
I’m sure gilroy doesn’t want any further responsibilities or exposure with Star Wars but to give the keys to the company to seemingly the one person who thinks his stuff is better than Andor is shows how little awareness that company still has
