They’re Midichlorians. Every force-user has swarms of microscopic Yodas swimming through their bloodstream.
I like all the theories that the other people in Yoda and ET Land talk normally and they're just weird little freaks
Was gonna quote you to shame cuz you do the same to me when I post off beat sexual stuff. Then I remembered the band or style of music in the cantina was actually called that. Carry on Joshua.
I simply will not be offering my click to a website using a new Star War to farm engagement from sequel discourse. It makes business sense for them. But I truly do not believe there’s anything new to say on that front. Unless I’m having a conversation with someone enjoyable to talk to, I’m over that, lol.
Hoping to be at least entertained tonight, expectations are now appropriately set to it basically being a few filler episodes of the show mushed together
I forgot how S3 ended. Does Mando still have the Dark Saber? Is Gus Fring still alive? And Bo-Katan, is she good or bad? I should probably watch a recap before seeing this.
the article is well-written (and has some really good points about the current big-screen intentions of the franchise juxtaposed against the ST as a whole), but i agree with Tim that the current "discourse" about those films isn't productive and is primarily a product of media outlets looking for a click, and that it constantly retreads the same ground with no substantial impact for any side of the conversation beyond prolonging the discourse even further. just like the PT before it, i think most people have made up their minds about the ST, and while i can agree with the author's thoughts that the discourse is annoying, i don't think that publishing a thinkpiece on the eve of the next film's release is going to do anything to lessen that. might just have the opposite effect. then again, this is the same franchise that people never seem to move on from no matter the entry (i'm surprised to hear that people are still wildly upset with ROTJ 43 years later). best to ignore it all, i guess.
Fun and entertaining but not revolutionary. Really enjoyed the first half. Overall fun addition, but not one I see myself going back to as much as the other SW films as it’s pretty light in strong thematic elements and isn’t too deep which is what tends to pull me in most.
I know I’m being overly harsh but I’ve never walked out of a SW movie feeling this negative. Really did not enjoy watching this.
