Andor didn't use it (at least if it did not to the same extent) and it shows. From the first half of Rebel Moon it certainly looks like that used it or some similar tech and woof. It can be a great tool to use but if it's the only tool it starts to look bad
He actually planned on using it or similar tech for Rebel Moon but ended up changing his mind. Movie just looks like shit because it’s a Snyder film
When it’s done well, it’s not noticeable. Others have given examples of when it is noticeable, so I don’t reiterate them. I’m a fan of it when it is done well.
I actually think I like the idea of Mando getting a separate movie from Ahsoka/the Rebels crew instead of having them all together in one thing, I hope that's what they're doing
I hope Ezra is in it. He needs to meet Grogu. Plus seeing a Rebels character on the big screen would be cool.
I could see it flopping and ruining the show and Star Wars movies for a next crop of years in one single flame out.
not loving the idea of the movie being the middle of the story. Doesn't quite make sense to have to be expected to go see a movie and then go back to Disney+ for the continuation. Just make the finale of the story the movie, which is what I thought Filoni's movie was supposed to be
I saw someone claim this newly announced movie will act as the finale for s4. The Filoni movie is still a thing and will be the finale for the Mandoverse.
That's not what the above article sounded like, but I guess we'll see. Just feels like an attempt to milk as much out of baby yoda as possible and being shoehorned in all of a sudden. All that said, I will still be there opening night so I don't know why I'm even complaining
Deadline claimed in their report for the movie that S4 was still in development, so I think that’s where a lot of confusion is coming from. I personally think and hope that they just have their info mixed up and the movie really is the finale for the show. I don’t see how switching from TV to movie to TV again makes sense. But yeah the Filoni movie is definitely the end of the whole Mandoverse like Greg said.
I’m just confused on what the movie will be, a higher budget solo adventure between the two? Because it needs to be an introduction and continuation for both characters, while not being completely consequential? Then it’ll be on D+ anyway so why see this in theaters
