In Season 1 this show reminded me of Pokemon, where essentially every episode Ash and co. would go to a new town, meet/battle/befriend some new characters and repeat
I think im ready to give up on this show. More distracting guest stars, a meandering plot thats all over the place tonally, and it generally just seems like an incoherent thrown together mess of star wars ideas and has lost its own identity. And the cuteness of Grogu has worn off and now his little back flips, and child noises are just corny. One minute hes a baby who's being held in lizzos lap getting hand fed, and then im sure soon they'll want us to see him as a fearless and powerful jedi/mandalorian hybrid who can kick ass. Is he a helpless baby or not?
I feel like after watching andor my expectations are too high lol. Like andor was clear, succinct, every scene had purpose. Mandalorian is meandering around and just not getting to the point. I get that season 1 and 2 were all side quests like this season, but I felt they were executed better and more interesting overall? Like everything actually related to bo katan and any mandalorian culture is great and I enjoy it. But if you have an 8 episode season your pacing has to be perfect and this season is all over the place.
Jumped the shark is a bit strong, but it’s admittedly not been as strong as other seasons for sure. Especially after the masterclass of Andor.
It's my favorite season so far. Lots of people are going to eat their words after these last 2 episodes methinks.
They did air the next episode at Celebration and there was a lot of talk about it being one of the best of the series so even if this season hasn’t been for you, it might be worth giving it at least one last chance.
People enthusiastic enough about Star Wars to go to Star Wars celebration liked the episode of a Star Wars show? Amazing
I’ve been to church camp I know the power of being in a crowd of people who are all feeling something
Chatted with my brother-in-law yesterday and he was raving about how good this season has been so obviously some people like it.
