But then she insists that they all have to walk the way together. If the other groups take helmets off, they won’t be walking the way. I’m just unclear on the Armorer’s intentions.
I took it as Gideon had some leftover Beskar and just used it to frame Mandos out of spite/revenge to get the New Republic mad at them.
I’ll be honest, it did not even occur to me until this moment that Gideon probably actually had some Mandalorians following him since he had the dark saber. I had assumed he just had some beskar and framed them but this would be a great twist that there might be Mandos sympathetic with him (or perhaps came for him thinking he still had the dark saber, but doesn’t). Hopefully they can stick this setup.
While I try not be overly critical of this show, it almost feels like we’re 3 episodes away from the payoff being exactly where we ended Season 2.
I feel this week could have been a great episode 2 for the season or something. And would have been a great setup for more the rest of the season.
I don't know how the hell there are only three episodes left in the season when so little has happened but I did really enjoy this one and the last scene with the destroyed ship was very well done And I for one am happy that Tim Meadows is in Star Wars canon
They really messed up on the plot pacing of this season. Having two 4 episode arcs would have been a MUCH easier fix than the random New Republic interjections we’ve gotten so far
Yeah, when I look back on the season, it feels like we've gotten two, maybe three episodes worth of content - not five episodes. The first two episodes could have been trimmed down to one, and episode 3 still feels odd considering how this season could have definitely utilized the time spent on those side characters. I'd rather have these random, episodic adventures than whatever they're trying to do in the long run with this season.
The first episode is the only one I see as wasted time for the most part. Repeating conversations and recapping from BOBF was too much of that episode. 2 was good. 3, wasn’t a waste of time, but I’ll stick to my take that they should have split that content up over the first three episodes. Maybe even just between ep 1 and 3. Ep 1 desperately needed new ground to cover. 4 and 5 were good. It’s clear they have pumped the breaks on the main story. Now that we know that they are down to make more and more seasons, it makes sense why it feels this way. It is a change to the show and it makes sense a lot of people don’t like that change.
My main point wasn’t really that they haven’t progressed the main plot enough though, but more that the pacing is just all over the place. Like I said, I would rather have the fun one-off adventures (which is why episode 2 was fun). 3 wasn’t bad, but like you said, it could have been split up. It’s mainly that I think the episodes could have been organized better - plot lines could have been condensed or merged. Some of it has been fun but it still feels like time has been squandered.
Really liked this one!!! do we think the armorer is setting Bo up in some kind of trap to get rid of her or is Bo truly the uniter of the Mandos (i havent seen any clone wars/rebels/etc. stuff). very eerie final sequence there with the shipwreck.
Maybe hoping she dies when she inevitably has to challenge Din for the Darksaber. Otherwise I’m not sure either.
Nah. Spider-Man was recast and had his own movie in like 3 years. This at least has 4. I got one am excited to finally see these characters in live action. Luke, especially. Hopefully they let an actual actor play him this time.
