You said mandos don’t run from shit. Then defend them running from Empire shit. I’m just trying to understand haha
Well, in reality, they just wanted an action sequence to open the episode since we were going to have to play catch up for the next 10-15 minutes of the episode.
I personally believe they wanted me and my wife to debate for 10 minutes about whether the monster was more alligator or turtle.
I choose to believe she got word Mando was landing and was like "shit, lemme hit him with "the pose""
I like to think she tried a few other poses while she heard Mandos footsteps drawing near before settling on the one we see her doing
A note: The actress that plays Bo-Katan does a fantastic job making the character subtly unlikeable, like in a way where I didn't completely trust her the entire time. I get a feeling she will become a clear antagonist this season.
I almost feel like the trailers were a misdirect and she's not going to be the antagonist at all. She simply just doesn't believe in Din and would rather not help him at all. She's bitter and jealous over the Dark Saber.
Bo Katan's sects of the Mandalorians have always been presented as the 'good guys', and Din's sect has been presented as 'bad guys'. So while Din is good, I'm not sure I want to be rooting for his side if there are any fisticuffs between the groups.
