In case you didn’t watch boba fett and you skipped the recap they explain what his mission is for the season again in the opening part. That was nice of them.
Was is said Grogu wanted to be a mando instead of a Jedi in BoBF? I’m sure it did but I totally don’t remember that
Luke gave him a choice between his beskar shirt and Yoda’s lightsaber. He told Grogu he could only pick one and forsake the other. Which is very dumb for Luke of all people to do, but that’s a whole other thing. Grogu chose the beskar shirt and was returned to Mando.
I really enjoyed the episode. The beginning fake-flash-back was a fun device to start the episode with. I'm also hoping the season ends with a similar ceremony for Grogu with a Grogu-shaped helmet. (but I also hope Din moves away from the Death Watch rules, so Grogu won't have to be helmeted all the time).
My assumption is that Din will be the one to unite all of these Mandalorian splinter groups and become Mandalore. And assuming that they'll move away from requiring helmets all the time.
I’ve always wondered that about most of the universe honestly. Not many planets seem to foster great grooming habits.
Normally my suspension of belief is pretty good when it comes to Star Wars, but I did find myself laughing at that sealing sound when the kid puts the helmet on. The prop just looked so fake/plastic. Minor gripe, but more funny than anything.
Was there a reason the mandos didn’t just retreat into the cave? Why did they keep fighting it and letting some of them die?
