That's a bad attitude to have dude I don't even totally understand what's being talked about but it isn't the events of Season 3, Episode 1 of The Mandalorian
Hey Greg, it's 7 AM central standard time. I've been at work for about 30 minutes. I went to bed at 9 PM last night after watching the last episode of Obi Wan Kenobi. Haven't watched Mando yet! and for the record here's the private message I sent penlab a bit ago Hey, sorry, not trying to sound like a dick or anything but seems like you two do this arguing in circles thing a lot and it's very tiring lol
My post is funnier when you know I am driving right now. But don’t worry, I am stuck in a hell scape of traffic. I’ve gone maybe 2 miles in 45 minutes.
I'm at work right now, standing and posting while I wait for my co-worker to restore network connectivity to the front desk of the hotel.
I feel so spoiled with other shows like The Last of Us where we get a 1hr+ long premier. And I love mando but if this was only a 30 minute episode I'm gonna pass until more of this is out. Beating a dead horse but the short episodes are my biggest gripe with almost every d+ shows I've watched. This would probably get a consistent 45-60 min on any other network.
I uh did not compare it to Andor but I don't understand why doing so would make anyone so mad. shouldn't have expected coherent thought from this thread lol. I'm just gonna peace out this whole page is pretty embarrassing and dumb
Yeah, the shorter episodes thing is definitely an issue, but on the other side of that coin, I don't really trust them to be able to write longer episodes that are any better. As for the episode, I'll echo that it was fine. It seems the worst part of the leaks is true, so that's not ideal. I'll try to keep an open mind though.
I haven’t seen any of the leaks. Not necessarily asking for them. But I am curious. I guess I shall remain in the dark for now.
Oh. As for the episode length, I think it was fine. The purpose of the episode was catch up/set up. It did that just fine. The moment it ended felt like the natural conclusion point for it. In my head, I said “and that’s it” and it then ended. I know I harp on movies being too long, but it really does depend on what story is being told in that movie or episode. This episode felt just right.
