I thought the train heist episode of BoBF was pretty fun and then obviously the two Mando episodes. It really is hilarious that they stuffed that into the end of an entirely different show.

 

The tuskin raider stuff in boba Fett was cool. But the show was ultimately a let down.

 

But you already watched the first two so you won't be the psycho

I’m watching the first episode with mando and Amy Sedaris’s character is so annoying.

 

the tusken raider shit in Boba is literally some of the most boring I've ever seen I'm sorry. straight up soporific, I literally fell asleep to it a few times

that show gets good from the flashback of Boba and Fennec stealing the Slave I back, that's really where the season shoulda started

 

Fleshing out the Tusken Raiders was a good thing.

I'm not against the idea of it it's just so dull in this particular show, and the obvious fall guy biker gang is almost as dumb as the steampunk power rangers gang. both very dumb

 

I didn't like most of that strictly because it took so much time during each episode without really giving you any sort of important information related to the "current" timeline. It felt more like they were trying to pad what was a pretty thin plot by showing all of those flashbacks.

The whole time, I kept thinking "okay, this flashback story is going to eventually show us something huge that's relevant to the main plot", only for the big reveal to simply be that the Pykes killed the Tuskens. It also seemed like it was trying to give him motivation to take out "the bad guys", but...they were already trying to kill him anyway so the fight was inevitable.

I don't know, the whole show just felt thin and pointless to me.

 

I watched all the mando episodes of boba fett and it’s so stupid they put those into the boba fett show. It feels pretty clear they didn’t have much to do with boba fett.

I think I’m the only person on the planet that enjoyed Book and doesn’t think it’s nearly as bad as it’s made out to be. He was a very minor character to begin with. I never had expectations he’d be huge player in the overall scheme and liked the side story feel of the season. It’s also extremely aesthetically pleasing as a general SW fan.

 

I’m glad you enjoyed it but it was bad bad.

 

Nothing can be bad when it has the unnecessary spinning gun flourishes that book of boba has lol

 

They totally redeemed Boba in Mando season 2 only to ruin him worse than ever before in Book

 

Yeah that’s all extreme. It’s not the best but there’s far worse in the SW realm.

Both were underwhelming and I'll never revisit either.

 

I revisited Kenobi when I bought my new TV because that final fight is BEAUTIFUL

 

I’m doing a rewatch right of Mando right now. I kind of forgot that Mando makes a pretty good military leader.

As for Book of Boba Fett, I liked a lot of the ideas it was just so poorly executed. Loved all the Tusken Raider stuff. Like the idea of Krrysantan and the Hutts. But then it just all fell apart and we had the out of place spy kids. I still love Boba the character though
