Kind of strange that they recapped the entire season in the latest Gallery episode but left out Luke entirely.
Also, Rodriguez seems like a fun guy to be around.

 

I’m still not convinced they won’t drop another stand-alone episode focused on solely that. I don’t think I’ve seen official confirmation from Disney that it’s only the one episode

 

Just wanted to remind everyone that the High Republic publishing initiative has just started and that has all new stories, characters, time period, etc. Most of the discussion is/will take place in the Star Wars Canon thread, but it has a lot of the things that people in this thread were looking for from Mando, so it seemed worth mentioning here too. First novel was great in case anyone was curious.

 

I'm only a casual Star Wars fan. Never saw the original trilogy(have seen bits and pieces here and there). The Prequels were entertaining at the time. Only watched the 1st and 2nd of the new trilogy. Would like to see the final one. Rouge One was pretty dope. Didn't see Solo.

Just finished S2 of Mando today. So damn good. I swear though I hate the internet and spoilers because the Boba Fett and especially the Luke surprises would have been pretty damn cool not knowing. Sorry I didn't watch the second it was available........ I totally got misty eyed when Mando took off his helmet for Grogu. I wonder if Grogu will turn up in S3. I'm going to be disappointed if that's the last we see of him.

 

As much as I love Star Wars overall I for some reason thought shows would be stupid and never had an interest in the cartoons or this. After hearing nothing but praise for s2 I started the whole thing a few weeks ago and just finished last night. Overall I can't believe how good it is. Also somehow I wasn't spoiled on either BF or Luke?? So that was nice. Up there with Rogue One in being mostly new but tastefully complementing the OT. If only Favreau and Filoni had taken the storytelling reins after the first hour of TFA....

 

I assure you, the cartoons also have loooots of worthwhile content in them. Clone Wars and Rebels have some of my favorite characters and stories in Star Wars history.

 

I've been doing a full on Star Wars chronological marathon for the past month (seen all the movies a million times but never seen any of the shows) and I have FINALLY seen this now. Fucking amazing, totally lived up to the hype. I can't believe I call myself a SW fanatic and haven't seen this until now lol

 

Also Clone Wars is incredible, I think I still like it slightly more than this show. Rebels is more hit or miss but when it's good it's amazing

I’m glad to see they let her go because she’s said a lot even before last night that was very offensive and worthy of firing. It’s a shame to see her waste this opportunity because I did enjoy her character and felt she was good in the role.

 

Sadly, I have a friend who will be upset about this. She doesn’t agree with what she has said but believes it should be separate from the show. Or something. I don’t really get it.
