Wait what happened in Aftermath. I read it so long ago. Was it just in one if those in between chapter things?
I’m not saying people can’t voice a different opinion. But it gets old when the same people come in and in again with the same complaints. It’s just gets old. I’m not trying to stifle conversation. I’d just rather it just move in a positive direction. And not just keep circling the drain.
Yes. Cobb Vanth finds the armor and it’s clearly Boba’s so the reader knows he at least got out of the pit. The 2nd & 3rd books have him going to Mos Pelgo/Freetown and clearing out the invaders as the Marshall (with Malakili the Rancor Keeper!).
The Legends material isn't canon anymore. His armor getting found in Aftermath doesn't mean he got out, actually if anything it probably meant he didn't get out because why else would he be separated from his armor unless he was dead. And no, the role that Boba Fett played in season 2 is nowhere near the same thing as the Armorer played in season 1. An original character would've been better imo.
I recognize the roles they played were different, but I just think in practice those characters could end up being very similar in presentation. I also think it’s worth mentioning that though Legends is not canon anymore, Lucasfilm has taken a ton of the best part from it and incorporated it into the new canon (Thrawn, Kylo=Jacen Solo, a lot of ships/designs, imperial remnant, clone Palpatine, Boba’s return) so it can still provide clues/hints. I don’t think we’re gonna agree on this, but I respect your opinion and hope you find what you’re looking for in future canon things.
Chapter 16: The Rescue is now one of the highest rated tv episodes of all time with a 9.9 rating on IMDB
Haha. As someone who’s favorite SW movie is Last Jedi, who loved Rise of Skywalker, has Revenge of the Sith in my top 3, and isn’t a big fan of Return of the Jedi, I definitely have some very unpopular opinions compared to most.
Rise of Skywalker is probably 5th for me. I love how it completes Rey/Ben’s arcs, I enjoy seeing this set of heroes working together, and with the sequel trilogy being all about legacy I think it closes out the stories of the original big 3 in a beautiful way (all things considered for Leia). I didn’t see RoS as so vastly different from TLJ as most, with the exception of Finn’s arc. I bought into the explanation of Rey’s parents wanting to be nobodies so both can be true, but totally understand why that didn’t work for most people.
