And Ahsoka already refused to train him. So I’m not sure they do make more sense.

 

Grogu in the futures trilogy or back with the high republic would’ve been boss. But this is still a ton of fun.

 

I never thought Cal was ever going to show up here. I think that would be too much of a spoiler for future Fallen Order games. We still don’t know his fate (unless I missed something).

I think objectively speaking, stripping away context like what other shows are planned or how old actors are...Luke makes the most sense. It’s established he spends a part of his post ROTJ life finding younglings for his new academy so here we are...

Now adding in all the other context there are options that also make sense but I have no problem with them still choosing the most logical option out there even if it’s not the most dynamic choice.

Just my two cents.

 

Could be interesting for a later or even final season to see Mando save Grogu and other younglings from Kylo’s attack on the temple.

I feel like a downer and a buzz kill but I was really taken out of it when Luke showed up. Seeing him effortlessly cut through and force crush droids just did nothing for me. The deus ex machina element cheapened it for me as well. I think it would have worked better if it was a more peaceful introduction. The CGI took me out of it, but admittedly I think it's probably not as bad if you're not looking for it. At the end of the day, it makes sense for Luke to answer Grogu's call, but it just felt kind of lazily executed. Oh well.

I loved the episode up until that point though. Mando v Gideon was well done, both the conversation and the fight. The conflict they set up between Din and Bo Katan is intriguing. And the goodbye between Din and Grogu was perfect. I loved him removing the helmet last week, but it means more in front of characters he regularly interacts with. Overall, this season was a huge improvement over the last and I'm still looking forward to season three.

I might pass on the Boba spin-off unless it's getting really positive buzz. He’s interesting in this show as a foil for Din and the other Mandalorians, but on his own, I just don’t care much.

I did laugh my ass off at Bib Fortuna the hut and him saying mcclunkey.

 

I second whoever said they need a print of that final Boba shot. Shit looked like a rap album cover.

 

I was confused by this as well. I couldn't remember if she won it in combat or if Sabine gave it to him.

Man what a season. Vaaaast improvement over s1 in every way. Don’t mind it being Luke. CGI was bad. Mando fight with Moff owned. Baby girl drinking the blue vodka next to Boba. Goodnight

 

Was totally expecting it to be Cal, but then with the X Wing it made it obvious. Though Cal I’m sure could pilot one as well, but then I forgot what color light saber you started Fallen Order with. I remember it being blue.

 

Personally I was hoping for Lego Rey and Lego BB-8 to answer the call
