yeah we need another Luke cliffhanger ala TFA. but how would they ever top the TLJ lightsaber throw on the other side of the cliffhanger.

The only jedi we know can force ghost are qui gon, Yoda, anakin, obi wan

 

Nah, the Clone Wars cartoon actually spent some significant time on this idea. Qui Gon learned how and taught Yoda, who taught obi-wan. Luke probably learned via the sacred Jedi text etc etc and Anakin prob learned through Palpatine.

I have no idea why people want it to be Mace. Can we be okay with just one character actually dying?

 

Here we go: Din will go back to the temple spot to see if any Jedi comes for Grogu to enlist their assistance. And finds like 5 of them. Then they each get their own spin off series.

 

99% of the Jedi actual died, though. I don’t think Mace coming back would be a big deal.

 

I’d prefer Mace stay dead.

 

Where is the idea of Mace coming back coming from? It seems like just picking a random famous Jedi. It doesn’t seem to fit anything. Even if he’s a totally BA.

 

The only reason I could see it being worth happening is for the dynamic it would create with Boba Fett but at the same time I really don't want it to happen at all.

 

We never technically saw him die and his history with the Fett's would provide some fodder for storylines.

Edit: Rise of Skywalker establishes seeing people fall from great heights to an assumed death doesn't mean they're gone forever haha

 

Because it's frustrating to continually have this trope in star wars (or any story) of showing a character die (or put in a scenario where death is HEAVILY implied) only to bring them back to life, miraculously. Sure, that doesn't make character revivals feel any less cheap. And it's a meme at this point that falling down some great distance (Maul, Palps, Boba) is guaranteed survival. Mace would be the 4th on that list.

I would be absolutely shocked if they actually bring Mace back though. So I don't think this really matters.

 

Still think Yoda makes the most sense.

 

Yoda would work well especially if you get ahsoka there at the end as well. Even ezra to a lesser extent.

 

Is Yaddle known to have died? She sort of just ceased to be on the council.

I'd prefer someone new or honestly baby yoda saying fuck the jedi way I'm just gonna hang with my mando buddy and steal peoples cookies.

 

I definitely think we’ll see Ahsoka and/or other Jedi down the line. Dins current mission is to return Groku to its “kind”, so someone else is on the horizon.
