Something interesting: The symbols of a coronation are a scepter and orb - what objects does Din have right now? Future Mandalore? Also - I think they end up on Kamino in the finale. Would be too interesting having Boba go back there plus the connections to cloning, etc. Makes too much sense.
So who do we think is going to be in the crew Mando is putting together? My guess is: Boba Fennick Greef Cara Mayfield Maybe Bo Katan + the two other Mandos?
I like the SW ships that have no aerodynamics like the B Wing and Slave 1. I like that the Slave 1 has to flip 90 degrees to land.
I could see Din being reluctant to accept the role of Mandalore, but it does seem to be heading that way.
It would be maximally interesting if the Jedi get crossed with the Mandalorians and things aren’t black and white. Or being able to admit the Jedi’s fuck ups. Like go ahead and admit to the viewer that the Clone Army was fucked up. The show seems to hint it is capable and maybe interested in exploring both of those ideas together.
Great observation. At this point, I would have to be convinced otherwise about him becoming Mandalore. I never in all my anticipation for this show would've imagined it going there, but it sure does seem that it is.
The Mandalorian: Is Cal Kestis the Jedi Who Will Find Grogu? | Den of Geek https://screenrant.com/mandalorian-season-2-jetpack-tython-left-what-happened/
Has anyone played Fallen Order? I don't really see the correlation, other than he was a Jedi in hiding and when most are gone, he's somewhat established, so why not? Is that the theory?
So the plot point of fallen order is they have a list of younglings still alive and they're trying to A) find it and B) keep it away from Vader so Grogu technically falls within that conflict though it's kinda stretch and i doubt they're gonna hang the whole season on the main character of a video game.
My thinking was just that while that game was awesome and I loved it, people at large won’t really know who Cal is. Just seems like that spot is the time to either use a older character who is established and loved, or a completely new character maybe? Just my two cents though. I certainly would love to see it be Cal.
Not that this is a deal breaker or anything but just curious... would they need to age the actor up pretty significantly in that case? I like the dude from Shameless so it would be cool to bring him in for an episode or two either way. Otherwise their options are fairly limited as far as Jedi go. Someone here also suggested force ghost Yoda/Obi-Wan, and I think that might be a good way to go.
Honestly, the only existing character who really makes a lot of sense to me is Ezra. They've set the board up pretty nice for that. Luke would be kinda lame though he's alive, ghost jedi is kinda lame in my view, Cal is alive and an option but idk
honestly, i'm just kinda over mark hamill lol - so much exposure to him in the last 4-5 years and now he's on a ton of commercials and is just corny as hell, please no Luke please.
