While there is no nice percentage to look at, rest assured that the record is nearly ready to complete. The details are yet to be announced, but it’s all there. The album title has been settled on, the artwork has been chosen. Right now, he tells me they are putting together vinyl variants, merchandise, and all of those things so that they’re ready to go. “Believe us that we had so many plans. I could tell you that,” he says on how they were originally going to roll out the album, but summarizes it’s current status with “It’s close, it’s very close.””

We're almost a month out from when that Substream article was published and who knows how long out from when the interview itself was conducted. I imagine that marathon John was describing has been completed by now lol

 

Damn, these guys don't slow down! Hoping to get a huge summer album from them again this time around. As much as I loved the last I just want some huge jams.

 

You Are OK is like almost all jams.

Fucking stoked for whatever this is going to be.

 

Don't get me wrong, YAO is full of jams but I feel the mood it sets isn't as easily accessible for me compared to LLL. Hopefully the next one I can spin anytime.

“Towards the sun” seems to be a common theme

 

All of the images say “This side towards sun” on the bottom right. So we shall see.

 

“Towards The Sun” would also be a good title for a record

 

Maybe the album will be called XOXO with the lead single being "Turn towards the sun" or the other way around lol be cool if it's a similar aesthetic to the site. The john the ghost album has a similar aesthetic which I'm a fan of

 

Maybe that cactus image is the album cover/to do with the visuals for the new album? Since it's kind of pointing towards the sun
