This is what I was thinking as well. Weren't they in the studio as recently as three weeks ago?

 

They've been recording their new album, but yes.

Man. These guys are just unstoppable. I write a song and I always think that’s the last one I’m going to write. I need their creativity.

 

So many artists are using this time to make so much extra music than they would have otherwise. Can't wait to see what they've come up with.

 

Some fans seem to think it’ll be a funeral/livestream concert for YAO similar to the funeral they did for LLL.

 

Yeah it sounds like that’s what it is. I really doubt it’s new music at this point.

 

I’d definitely be down for that.

 

Heard that the new record isn't coming til 2021.

I also gave Pillar a try and was less than impressed. Hopefully some more content pops up. Smart business move though.

 

Yeah I was thinking too that if we are getting a single it’ll come in the fall, not now. But that livestream sounds cool.

I’m already burnt out on these streaming shows, and Pillar has been a disappointment so far...

 

The livestream is free for Pillar members, $9.99 for everyone else but includes a month of Pillar. There are several merch bundles on their website.

 

I was curious to check out Pillar for a month, so this is perfect!

 

There’s also a new vinyl variant of YAO if anyone’s collecting it.

Pat tweeted the set will be YAO in full along with other songs.

 

I'd love to see The Maine do webstreams for each of their albums.

 

Anyone know if the stream stays up for a while? Saturday at 6 PM is a little inconvenient for me.

I love how they used to play the bridge of Identify when Pioneer was just released. Starts around 2:15

 

Someone on twitter said it was one of the videos they filmed at the Orpheum last year.
