Whilst I’ve seen this happen a few times over the years between AP.net and Chorus we can’t deny the fact they’ve got significantly better since their early days with each album. They were touted to be the next All Time Low and they did all they could to go the opposite way.
Obviously respect your opinion, but personally do not agree at all. LLL is the far superior record musically and conceptually to me. It’s the true definition of a record. The new one is good but doesn’t even sniff LLL territory for me personally.
Whilst I do really enjoy You Are Ok. I mean it has some incredible songs on there such as My Best Habit, I Feel It All Over (my personal favourite) and One Sunset. The album isn’t as uplifting as LLL for me. I can put that album on any time and it literally uplifts my mood. With You Are Ok I have to be in a certain mood to appreciate the album to its fullest.
They didn’t always do that. Ever since like American Candy. I think that’s when they started doing the matching thing.
I wish they would play more than just Girls off this album. Its literally one of the 2 or 3 i dislike on it. I did hear I Must Be Dreaming on their recent fall tour and that was a banger. The slow songs on this album are so good.
From the looks of it, they played the whole album at 8123 Fest. The remaining videos are both from it as well and both sound so damn good.
I’m pretty sure they filmed the whole fest set, I remember seeing a camera for the CSWS set and the other songs as well. I’m curious if it’ll all be released at some point.
Anyone have any idea what vinyl they have at the merch table for their UK run of the Mirror tour? Thanks!
The CSWS set from 8123 fest and the instrumental versions of their albums are now up on band camp. 8123
I'm not certain if this is new music, or what, but their instagram has two interesting things highlighted for this week: Face The Mirror (Video Release) 2pm Eastern Today Hope Is All We Have (Video Release) 2pm Thursday
If it were new music, I would think that we would have heard at least something about it before this...but I could be wrong!
Face the Mirror sounds like it will be some kind of footage from their last tour. Not sure about the other one. Wouldn't mind another b-side collection though.
They mentioned on their podcast that they've started writing for a new album and they recently recorded a song, but I doubt this is related. Looking forward to seeing what this is.
