Man, the songwriting on the new song is astounding

The only thing I wish was that the vocals weren't so high in the mix, but that's a personal preference thing. I WANNA FEEL THOSE STRINGS BB

 

So impressed by what they've done with this song. I was reluctant that they wouldn't be able to match the magic of LLL but I shouldn't have had any doubt.

 

this song is so cool

they do it once again, completely zagging instead of zigging, I love it

 

I love where the vocals are...one trend i've been noticing with other artists is for vocals to be a bit deeper in the mix and buried behind more "big" sounding instruments. Drives me crazy

The guy that mixed this did Hot Fuss among 100's of other big records! Stoked to hear the production on this as well, I feel like Squire has a bit heavier influences so we'll see the combo of the two.

still not sure how to feel. i do absolutely love moody The Maine with Pioneer as my favorite album of theirs, song just wasn't immediately impactful but we'll see

they have dates down here in june so y'all up there shouldn't expect a long tour. an april-may run probably

 

Great song. The merch packages are not for me though. Wish they'd just sell the variants.

 

Seems like I'm not the only one who got hooked after LLL and seeing them last summer. The new song is great, this should be an early contender for EOTY lists.

 

Insane how much better this band gets every release. Song was a little early panic/the used which I wasn't expecting. LLL is a great album and this song definitely has me excited for the rest of the record.

 

The song gets better with every listen, so many things to pick up on with this song...

 

It's such a small thing but I love the little vocal effect during the line "You are a shutter in the voice".

 

Same with the voices in the background of that verse - and the “woah” and “yeah” during the solo. Awesome details

 

I really really really like the guitar solo.

 

When are we going to discuss the idk scream I guess underneath "you are my last, you are my first, you kill me for the better YOU"

 

Anyone know who recorded this? Sounds unreal.

just listened to AC again. it’s really something else.

 

The new song sounds fucking huge live. From last night's show:

 

I heard it both nights and it sounds like nothing they’ve ever done live. It’s amazing.

 

They sound incredibly tight in the video and it’s just fan shot haha. Good for them. I wanna hear this song in the radio dammit.
