The whole maine album is still good haha. I also always play Yule Shoot your eye out by FOB, Forget december SOCO, and Lights and Buzz from Jack's mannequin

 

I was jamming this EP last week. Classic for me at Christmas time. Wild to see how far this band has come.

 

John is the best frontman in the scene.

 

Flowers on The Grave has been on near repeat the last few days

 

Keep cranking em out. This band works so hard.

 

I know they never make the same album twice but I’d love another summer album from these guys. LLL is a masterpiece to me and the Third Eye Blind influences just won me over in a big way. Don’t get me wrong I really like their latest album too, I just have to be in a certain mood to appreciate it fully.

 

gimme more shit like Broken Parts, if you’re gonna expand on YAOK at all.

 

The CSWS set from 8123 fest and the instrumental versions of their albums are now up on band camp. 8123

 

I hope this new record is more pop-leaning like LLL and American Candy. This last record was fine, but I don't return to these songs like I do those last two albums.

 

Same. In fact I rarely come back to the songs from the new record at all.

 

Same, and it’s weird cause I think they’re good. Still play LLL all the time though

 

Damn when Everything I Ask For came in I was hit with so much nostalgia.

 

Agreed about the new record. It’s very good but I enjoy listening to the last two more.

 

CSWS is a pure nostalgia bomb for me, every time I go back to it it’s like I’m 17 again.

 

I go back to yao a lot, previous 2 set a standard for the band but I'd say Yao is tied for third with pioneer for me

 

I think You Are Ok is way stronger than LLL and AC.

 

I think LLL is the stronger album – it’s just so cohesive and seamless and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts – but YAOK probably has the better songs. Or at least the higher highs.
