Does anybody else get an Alkaline Trio vibe while listening to Slip The Noose???

 

I actually get an alkaline Trio vibe from Forevermore. The chord progression is very Trio.

Forevermore is a straight parallel to Billy Bragg's "A New England"

 

John said at the release show that it was inspired by Billy Bragg

 

This is their best mixed album. Listening to LLL and can't help but notice how weak the kick is.

 

Does anyone have the orchestral album?

 

Agree 100%. Listened to LLL yesterday for its birthday and You Are OK has so much more of a kick in the songs.

Not to say LLL sounds bad because it doesn’t. It just doesn’t sound as big as the new stuff.

This band doesn't have a bad album.

 

I forget how to read whenever I see LLL slander but "My Best Habit" has been on a loop in my head for a week straight (I didn't listen to any singles before the release except for the very first one because I wanted to be surprised)
