Ooooo wow teaser makes it seem like this is going to be a banger! I think this might be my most anticipated album of the year right now, which I would think is an insane thing to say before LLL came out.

 

That sounds so good, yeah this is 100% my most anticipated release

 

Goddamn does this band know how to write a catchy chorus. Gettin a little country vibe

 

Didn't think they could do better than LLL, but this shit is trending that direction. Super excited to hear the album.

 

Also kinda reminds me of TSL's album Direction in some parts

 

Not grabbing me the way anything on LLL did so far - but it’s still good

The chorus actually reminds me of something from the CSWS days.

 

This is, similar to Numb, instrumentally intricate. Does it pack the same emotional punch? No. But these songs are good

Yeah, i’m a little lost in the verses and it feels kind of forced overall

 

The song doesn’t feel like it has as much room to breathe to me - especially as compared to the last record (which I understand is an unfair comparison).

It just feels a little forced overall where the last one felt more natural

 

I don’t know what “forced” means ... but I *really* like this song. Great energy. Great chorus.

 

Sounds pretty in line with stuff like My Heroine. The rhythm is extremely on brand for The Maine too — “forced” doesn’t feel very accurate to me. Definitely wouldn’t have had a home on LLL but otherwise this seems like a pretty slam dunk single for them! 2/2

“Who are you now” is a lyric in the bridge of We Change We Wait, I’m guessing that’s what they’re referencing

That chorus is so addicting!

 

This is a bop. None of the pre-release singles on LLL ended up being favorites from the LP (Sound of Reverie, Don't Come Down and Taxi were my favorites), so I guarantee a lot of the skepticism will die down once this drops.
