Fuck, that song is going to be a BOP! Definite AC vibes from what we’ve heard so far. I can feel it’s going to be a great summer album. Just hate the long rollout.

Sounds in the similar poppy vein as Sticky (expected that). Stoked to hear more from this record

..but might sit out the next few singles if they release another one quickly.

I'm still waiting on a Pioneer repress (and also AC)

 

I have AC and YAO. Waiting for LLL to get repressed, and I stupidly didn’t pick up the Forever Halloween repress. I did preorder the new one though.

 

I wouldn't hesitate if they repressed everything from Pioneer onwards. I didn't get into vinyl collecting until after LLL, so I need to get caught up.

YES! Haha! I watched that video so many times.

Looking back, the whole western aesthetic was pretty unusual for where the scene was at the time.

 

Gonna do by best to hold out on listening to the new single but we'll see how that goes...

 

I think it was kind of a holdover from the sound they were originally flirting with, which was significantly less poppy than the songs they wound up recording (Daisy/Town’s). Their first show I remember them having all these old TVs on stage to match haha. A brief identity crisis before pivoting to the Nikes and headbands

 

I think their sound shift in the early days was also due to Ryan and the other guy leaving, which led to Kennedy and Jared joining.

Really love the vibe of this record so far. This song also hits that perfect blend of LLL/YAO for me.
