This isn't that serious or anything but I'm honestly getting kinda annoyed by the PIoneer vinyl situation. I'm only still in Pillar cus I have my $5 deposit and I'm waiting to get the vinyl, idk if I cancel if that deposit will still be honored. I guess I could reach out and see but I didn't expect it to take this long.
Apparently they have the vinyl or are close to having it. I’m not sure what’s going on at this point.
i cancelled awhile back, and if i don't have access to the preorder i'm going to be pretty rattled because that $5 deposit is definitely still there.
Yeah I’m hoping they’ll just send a link to the vinyl without having to have a pillar membership cause I canceled last summer.
If it makes you feel any better they don’t really appear to be replying to anyone about anything right now. Fans are really pissed about the ATL tour and the backlash is even bleeding over onto their personal accounts now
Most of 8123 stan twitter isn’t happy with them at the moment so yeah they’ve all been pretty silent on everything except promoting sad summer.
I’d assume at least a single by the time sad summer starts. I just hope it’s not as long of an album roll out like it was with xoxo.
Happy to see The Maine's fans holding them accountable (unlike Underoath's fanbase with their controversy). ATL's career should be over after what they covered up, and it's not a good look for The Maine to be associating with them.
Since it's just a small festival I've been hoping they simply drop off of it. Haven't said a word yet.
Major yikes. I'm not sure what the contract situation is but at this point they need to either address it or drop off of that festival.
Wow. What a tone-deaf response that was. And a little scummy that they're using the Riot Fest tweet that was obviously satire about people complaining about the lineup in general as a way to shade people concerned about the ATL situation. I did not have The Maine defending All Time Low's shitty behavior on my 2023 bingo card. I'll put it this way: Any artist that decides to tour with ATL moving forward is on my write-off list. Not a single dollar for vinyl, tickets, or merch will come from my wallet if they choose to tour with that band. This is a festival and I understand the contractual obligation here, but any non-festival tour deals moving forward are subject to this policy.
I did not read that Instagram post as any reference to anything ATL related, but instead coming from a band who books a fair amount of their own festivals and special events and assuredly gets a lot of grief and complaining for not inviting X artist or whatever.
