For anyone on Pillar, the audio from the xoxo set from 8123 fest is up in the audio section! They’re working to get the video from the fest set up in the next week or so.
Absolutely. The record is a classic because of nostalgia but not because of the actual quality of the music lol
For anyone on Pillar, the Fest merch that’s being reprinted is up. For anyone not on Pillar, the only Fest merch on the 8123 shop currently is the Fest shirt and the clear pressing of XOXO.
At fest, they mentioned they’re working on represses but with the obvious backups at vinyl plants, they can’t put a timetable on it.
Thanks for the info! I only became a fan in the past few years, and I love everything from American Candy - present. I want AC and LLL on vinyl so bad. Can't wait to snag those eventually without paying collector prices.
AC and LLL are the only ones I own, but the only ones I really care to. I think I said it before in this thread, but I’d totally buy another copy of LLL if they did a 2xLP. I get that there are transitions, but they try to cram Do You Remember through How Do You Feel on one side and it gets pretty rough listening toward the end
Agreed, I think it would split up nicely with four songs to a side and maybe a cool logo etched on the fourth — the “M” from the B&W days would work perfectly
The three-side record is an underutilized option. Really nice balance of sound quality and pacing for every album I have that goes that route.
They have mentioned in the past the only album that probably won’t get pressed would be Black & White since Warner Brothers owns it.
Just came here to say that 'Loved You a Little' might be one of the best songs I've heard this year. I would love to see more songs from Taking Back Sunday, The Maine and Charlotte Sands. A combo I didn't know I needed until now.
I just went to put this on this evening and noticed for the first time that the first left facing page of the booklet has Lorem ipsum placeholder text at the bottom of it. I guess they forgot to replace that text when it came to designing the booklet?
They’re on the next cover of AP and are doing a bundle where you can get a Loved You A Little vinyl. The Maine x AltPress: "Loved You A Little" Red Heart Flexi-disc Single + Magazine Bundle
They were very solid last night! Usual setlist/banter but the new songs popped. There was also a proposal towards the end of their set and the last show I went to in 2019 there was a gender reveal, so shoutout to huge life moments happening at The Maine shows lol
Just checked out the setlist, some great songs from the new album. Odd choices from American Candy, although I think Another Night on Mars is going to be on the setlist forever now
