HA that's funny. I Only Wanna Talk to You always reminded me of The Verve, and Noel has said that Cast No Shadow is an homage to the Verve. Now I'm hearing CNS in the verses.

 

The last 4 songs on LLL are perfect.

 

I Only Wanna Talk To You is my favorite song by this band. It just feels so naked and exposed. LLL falls into the rare category of “perfect album” for me but that song in particular is just so raw in the best way.

 

Talk to you I think is my least fav on LLL lol

 

I definitely regret not buying that on vinyl when it came out. Also regret not ranking it higher on my decade list.

 

If you aren’t watching the livestream, I highly suggest you do once it’s uploaded to Pillar. They’re about halfway through and this is the best setlist of any the streams they’ve done.

 

As time goes on I realize more and more that LLL is one of my favorite records, period. Just an absolute masterpiece.

 

Still can’t believe this is the same band whose songs I had playing on my MySpace page in 2007

 

Listening to this now, first three songs are good but don't like High Forever much at all.

 

April 7th is my favourite so far for sure.

 

Last two songs were highlights too. Definitely a good album outside of High Forever. Feels like a step down from YAO to me though.

 

That song brings me to tears every single time.

 

Anxiety reminds me of The Night Game.

Listened to this several times this weekend going to and from the beach. Can't wait to just do the same exact thing next weekend

 

I thought the same. There were a few moments on here that reminded me of The Night Game.

 

Either way, DPB and anxiety are two of my all time favorites from this band and that alone makes this thing a win. What great tunes.

 

My friend had DPB as his LEAST favourite on the record and i was blown away

I'm definitely in the minority on this opinion, but High Forever is a banger

 

Idk I think it’s kinda basic and boring but I don’t hate it as much as I usually hate songs if the same ilk

 

when High Forever is the worst thing on your album, that’s a pretty damn good album I’d say
