Lmao two exact opposite responses :crylaugh: music is tight. It's just the kind of anthemic acoustic guitar and the build before the chorus where you think it's gonna explode but then they kinda dial it back

I do need to listen to G&C again though, i admittedly haven't heard it in a whileeee.

I do love G and C. Just not quite seeing the similarities

Listened 2.5ish times now and I'm vibing with this. Last three songs are the strong point of the album for me, when hearing the instruments come back in at 3:24 for the first time I made the face I normally do when a heavy-ass breakdown hits.

Oooh I love the competition between albums. Everyone has bias, when an album clicks with someone. For me, it was Pioneer. To me, top 10 albums ever.

I usually never interact with band members. I love concerts and being with a crowd seeing their favorite music but rarely make an effort to meet any artist in person. I have talked with each member of this band individually which has been an awesome experience. Always stand up gentlemen who appreciate their fans.

These guys are unlike many groups. At this point in their lives, have married, had kids, and traveled the world. Continue to make high quality music that connects others together.

This last 15+ months of life have been difficult for so many. I look up to these guys and as a fan for over decade I'm happy for all of them from miles away.

Hope to see you all at a show soon.

    EDIT:
    I'll post it:

exact same way I feel about this band...the fact they are the coolest guys ever just makes this so much more enjoyable.

Wanted to like this but I think they are just a one album band for me (ignoring that I liked the debut when I was 15). LLL was very good but I just don't vibe with anything else. Bit of a shame. But glad to see people vibe with this.

“Everything is exactly as it should be”

Very Jimmy Eat World-esque part of that song. I almost feel like there needs a tshirt that only has that line on it. Throw a M with a circle around it on the sleeve and an XOXO in that tag spot.

On my first listen now… one of my initial thoughts is that I can’t believe High Forever wasn’t one of the singles. That one is really catchy.

This albums pretty perfect for me. Already have almost all of the songs stuck in my head. I’m seeing them play with All Time Low on their UK run in September and I’d pay more to have them both perform their two latest albums in full!

    Two tiny gripes.

Not big on High Forever, but I don’t hate it.

Wish Love in Real Time was longer. Don’t want it to end! Ha

But yeah fucking love this thing.

Liking High Forever more and more. Definitely the weakest track, but the 'follow you, follow you, follow you down' part really rocks.
