Oh, this is great. Poppy but not too far into that spectrum for me. A little bit of Lovely Little Lonely, a little bit of American Candy, a little bit of You Are Ok. Banger.
It's got that deep bass that reasonated throughout YAO, with the pop delight of American Candy and atmospheric vibe of LLL. LOVE IT

Pat and Garrett just said "Anxiety in Real Time" is probably their darkest tune, but their favorite tune on the record. Wrote it with Colby Wedgeworth which is interesting cause he is a huge pop influence on LLL and AC. Also said that Saturday's Live Stream Making of XOXO is 10 minutes long with extended clips of songs from the record. Probably not advisable to watch if your'e holding out. Says one part of the doc has a full minute of a song clip
He did, I know that John wrote a good amount of record 8, or at least the demos with Colby for this cycle. He had like 50-60 ideas he said for album 8 from those "in the room" sessions on Pillar.
